Stepping into another spice journey at Amraj! Warm welcoming by the staff and setting off with the complimentary papadams with refreshing mint sauce and sweet mango sauce (to my tasting the mango chutney was little too sweet). We went with vegetarian shahi panner dish and lamb boti served with sauce and rice. First of all, the panner was soft and soaking up the creamy sauce, the sweet and spicy gravy was so delicious, couldn’t stop from eating with the fluffy, perfectly cooked naan. The Lamb Boti was not so tender, it was little dry but the marination and flavours on the lamb was bold. The portion size was too little with 4 pieces of lamb.

September 2025 Hidden gem in Jessheim near oslo Airport I had an incredible experience at Amraj Authentic Indian Cuisine from the moment we walked in , we greeted with the warm smiles and welcoming atomsphere.the interior was perfect balance between modren elegance and traditional Indian charm. the food was absolutely phenomnal. Every dish bursting with flavor,clearly made by fresh ingredients and authentic Indian spices. The butter chicken was rich and creamy with perfect heat. The lamb biryani was perfectly cooked aromatic and generous in perfect portion and Garlic naan was soft, fluffy and addictive! what really stood out was the service. the staff was really attentive,knowledge able nd happy to offer recommendation based on our preference. whether you are familier with Indian cuisine or trying it first time ,this place delivers an unforgettable dinning expereince. Highly recommended and cant wait for com back.
Not to be dramatic, but I will be dreaming of the chicken korma for the rest of my life. Best meal of my entire two-week trip to Norway. Do not miss.
Extremely good and fresh food. The taste was very good and best thing is the quality of the food was so good. The service was extremely good too. Overall we are so happy with our Indian food in Oslo.
Food was amazing everytime I ate here. I’ve in nannestad for 6 weeks and have eaten at almost every single restaurant but not one was as good as this one! I’ve eaten here so many more times than any other place and I don’t think I can ever get tired of it. Food is flavorful and seasoned to perfection. Not one bad meal! I will 1000% recommend it to anyone who asks me!
The tandoori dishes were truly excellent, both the mixed meat platter and the chicken with yogurt. The Indian tea was full of flavor, and the service was outstanding. The dessert was the perfect finishing touch—simply amazing!
